This April (8th-13th) Milan turned into an international design hub. During the Milan Design Week, designers, artists and architects from all over the world visited the city to share with new ideas, projects and even make their own soda ;)
My university turned into one huuuge exhibition. From 3D screenings to Scale Infinite (Endless Stair)...
My uni- Universit脿 degli Studi di Milano

For bookwormies :))
Apple shelf :)) I'd put 10 of them on my wall :D
I'm so glad that I study at this uni!! All the time there's something cool going on.
Did I mention that we could drink as much Lavazza coffee as we wanted? There was a coffee bar offering a free traditional Italian espresso. Even though I am not a coffee addict, I enjoyed it :) Personally I drink this beverage once or twice a year, but at that time I wanted to give it a try... maybe because I commemorate the events with the foods I am consuming... Weird. I know. But that's the way it is. I wanted to remember that time, so I went for a coffee :DD
Later that day I also visited Palazzo Morando in Milano's fashion district- via Sant'Andrea.
Tealight holder by Zava Design
I also got my very own one! :) The foldable piece of metal which you can see in my hand is the tealight holder actually. A bit of manual skills.. and done! :))
If you got thirsty after an exciting design tour, you could... MAKE YOUR OWN SODA! Yes! :))
Thanks to the SodaStream you could turn a regular tap water into something special. Whether with syrup or without any additives, it was a pure fun to 'produce' it yourself ;)
You can obviously choose the colors of the machine's components, depending on the style of your kitchen.
You just basically fill the bottle with the water, put it into the machine and press. After a few seconds you have your own fizzy drink. If you prefer a flavoured one, you can choose from a variety of syrups. You put the cap with a flavoured liquid on top of the bottle, press it for a second and let the things happen ;)
Et voil脿! Your own soda water is ready! :)) + you don't have to carry heavy bottles of water + you waste less plastic <-- you are eco-friendly
Milan is a dynamic city which gives many possibilities to enjoy your life, get to know new things and spend the time in a friendly, Italian atmosphere. I can highly recommend coming here! :))
